Disgusting dirty home. Any good reviews are fake. Please don’t be fooled. Read the one star reviews. Plumbing doesn’t work. The whole house is filthy rundown place. Pool isn’t heated. Was charged extra $1000 for that. Owner was nasty beyond belief. Renter beware. Pictures on the website are from ver y long ago. The back doors don’t even lock.

There’s no AC at the house we arrived it was 85 degrees he kept on saying the AC guy is on the way, but when It was two hours before Shabbos and nobody showed up, we just packed up and left so if you wanna have a nice getaway and save yourself, the frustration and lots of money spend with no refund don’t book this place for your family get away

Our Yeshiva was there end of June: Everything worked out well . Rooms were clean and spacious. The dining room , shut room was very luxurious and enjoyed by all . We did not need the pool but the outside grounds were wonderful with ping pong and a fireplace. Was enjoyed by everyone. Highly recommend this place.

I recently stayed at the mansion with a group of friends for Shabbos. Place was dirty with stuff all over the place, there was mold and bugs in the basement;wouldn’t recommend. Place was spacious and showers didn’t work.

It was a beautiful house... 20 years ago. The house is in need of serious repairs, and there were many issues with the plumbing and the pool. The mansion lists 13 bathrooms, and several of them did not work. We came with 65 boys, and with only 8 showers it was a big problem. We were promised a fully functioning pool, and while the pool itself was good, the connecting hot tub was filled with dirt. The pool house itself was covered with tarps and was a blight on the house. The majority of the boys slept in the basement, where many crickets and bugs were found in the rooms. In all of the showers we found spiders, as well as webs covering many light fixtures. Around the house, there were many destroyed and missing light bulbs that brought an overall feeling of neglect to the house. The exterior of the house was covered in soot, and in severe need of a power washing. The house itself has a mold problem, and is probably not safe for breathing. There are bare wires sticking out in random places, and though not powered they are an eyesore. We turned this shabbos into a positive experience, but I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a clean place for a gathering.

Felt like a horror movie, the whole house is covered in creepy pictures of family, there are holes in the walls, and it’s covered in dirt and cobwebs. Multiple outlets are broken and half the showers don’t work. The hot tub is covered in mold and the pool cover is disgusting.

Well. I only have nice things to say after spending a Shabathon at the mansion with our seminary girls. We were a large group and everyone was very comfortable and happy in the mansion. It was warm and pleasant The dining area and the davening room was huge and gracious n splendid. The owner was very helpful. The kitchen accomadations, with a walk in refrigerator ,especially made everything very pleasant and easy. Plenty of kitchen space. Would highly recommend this place

This is the Kudans family from Santa Barbara ,California. We are shiluchim there . We just made a Shabbos Sheva Brochos this past shabbos for one of our siblings . Our extended family from all over the world flew in . Boruch Hashem everything worked out. Not one problem we had . I didn’t even need to call the owner once. The meals were excellent in the front rooms as well as we davened in one of the big rooms. The weather was rainy, but by the time the meal finished we went to sleep anyways. All bedrooms n rooms were as shown n clean. Had no issues. I Am recommending this to all Shiluchim n people. Beautiful place for a Simcha. Ty ty

We were at the mansion a while ago. One very large family . We had a very nice and enjoyable time. The grounds are beautiful ,as well as the insides . Some rooms are better than others but all are good. Eating and davening area very nice . Would come again next year gd welling

Was just there at the Monsey house a Shabbos before Shavuot. House is exactly like the pictures and even nicer. We were there with many couples In our group as well as lots of children all ages . World cannot explain how filthy and dirty this place is. We did the reservation for four family for the holiday The pictures that show on the website is from 50 years ago the garbage all over the place rat traps everywhere spiderwebs all over dirty mattresses dirty sheets broken sinks broken toilet it’s unbelievable after driving for two hours from Great Neck we had to turn around and go back before the holidays starts. couldn’t stay we drove back and the owner is not willing to give the money back we have a Lot of picture I wish there was a way to upload it here if you want email me I would gladly send you all the pictures for this place. The owner is a total scam in total fraud it’s a shame to have a Jew doing this to another Jew. All those five stars are probably family and relatives and fake reviews.

WE WERE HERE AT THE MANSION the Shabbos after Pesach this year. We had a very enjoyble Shabbos. Everything worked out well we had no complaints we were very happy here. We were just at this house for our parents 70 th wedding Anniversary, on April 23. We weren't sure if we would take it. We came and we were very happy here... We had a beautiful Shabbos Whole family together at the Shabbos table and at the davening in the house. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. We had a nice weather so it really worked out . We even used the pool Was excellent.. Rooms were nice and clean exactly like the pictures sent to us. The owner was very helpful and accomadting. Spending some time in the Monsey Mansion was truly an amazing experience. From the beautifully designed and decorated home, to the elegant, spacious dining room area, large kitchen and appliances to accommodate a crowd, words do not suffice how luxurious and enjoyable our our stay was. The bedrooms are situated in a manner that provide ample space for a number of families, and are allocated in a way that promotes warmness and privacy simultaneously. The gorgeous outdoor area was appreciated by adults and children alike. Having use of the beautiful indoor heated pool and surrounding area was an added bonus that further enhanced our stay at the mansion. The Mansion was walking distance and very conveniently located to Shuls for every Nussach you desire. We highly recommend this unbelievable Mansion for Shabbosim, Yomim Tovim, family gatherings, and conferences. Thank you again

We were there with 2 grades from our Mesivta at the Monsey Mansion. Was very pleasant experience. The bocharim got new koichos and was an uplift in Ruchniyus and Gashmiyos. Place was clean and nice and served its purpose. Kitchen n food situation worked out well . The davening room n dining room areas worked out very well. Hope to come again....

My extended family and Mechuttanim were there last Shabbos for a Shabbos Aufruf. We were very happy. I am in the Kosher exclusive high end Pesach Program business running Pesach programs for over 15 years as well as other retreats. So I know what accomdations n things mean. The Monsey mansion worked out well. Everyone was happy. Dining room and davening room were very spacious. Kitchen facilities are plenty. Plenty fridge n freezer space etc. It..was a warm day so the outside gorgeous scenic backyard also worked out well. owner was very helpful and always available. Bedrooms are nice and large . Almost as nice as my 5 Star resort hotels. Recommend this place highly.....

we were there with extended family. Place is very nice and elegant. The place was clean n pretty. Owner was very helpful. We rented the pool use in the Winter , which was extra. It didn't get hot enough so the owner sent us back some money. He sent 2 diff people to shovel new snow that fell. Also , my brother left a bag of jewelry in a bedroom. He remembered few days later. I called the owner n he mailed it back to him. Was a very pleasant experience . Would recommend it for families and groups.

Our Shabbos Hisvadus here at The Monsey Mansion was truly a unique and special experience BH!! we came with a yeshiva boys to the Monsey mansion lest week was amazing very nice is worked out very good the Dining room and the Davening room were very spacious and worked out well.The bedrooms were fine and comfortable..All the bochurim had an amazing time BH They got a new chiyus for future projects. Highly recommend this place. and special the Owner was very helpful at all the time and always available

Everything worked out well The dining room n shul room were big n spacious Heat worked fine was very comfortable Place is clean It may not be 5 star but its as clean as mine n my siblings houses..Owner was very accomdating. .One bathroom wasn't flushing on Friday. A plumber came to see it right away.Living room and play room were very nice We did not use the pool. Kitchen was fine Would highly recoimmend this place All my guest were happy n satisfied One shower out of 13 didn't work.No big deal

It may not be the Waldorf Astoria 6 star hotel. But it was clean n pleasant. I spoke to previous people . The owner is very pleasant n easy to deal with. Obviously this last post is something out of the norm. Our group was satisfied. Yes kitchen is in basememt but it all worked out,. Bottom line is we came to have a nice weekend together with everyone. IT DEFINETLY WORKED OUT N EVERYONE was satisfied ...Anyone who can write such long comments ...Never mind Don't know what to say..we had a positive experience. Little things can need attention maybe That's normal in such a big house

Do NOT be fooled by the marketing of this home! This oversized house has been built with great detail and décor of caliber 15-20 years ago, however, it has been neglected and is therefore dilapidated! to an unacceptable degree! We came with an extended family to celebrate a special occasion. We were horrified by the disgusting neglect! There are two doors that lead to the outdoors, that do not stay shut! Dirty torn couches that sink to the floor! Showers that don’t work, toilets that don’t flush! Most of our family was not able to shower erev shobbas because the plumbing doesn’t work properly – most showers are not operable!!!!!!!! Torn shades, broken doors and knobs, smashed door frames and moldings, and unkempt corners. You get to use a dilapidated, tiny kitchen, one floor under the dining room! (the main large beautiful kitchen is shut closed.) Yes! You need to shlep everything up! One flight of stairs up- to serve the meal. (He has a dumb waiter that is so so filthy! We couldn’t think of using it!) The basement rooms are packed with cot like beds. Great for a Yeshivah dorm. Nothing more. Many rooms in the main two floors were locked up not available for use. For over 3k a weekend you would expect for the owner to have the curtesy to come by and show us how to properly heat the house. HE didn’t! WE were freezing ALLLL shobbas. Owner displayed nasty behavior to us from the onset. When we suggested that we pay the second half of our payment when we meet Friday morning in his house- he went on a rampage that we would lose our deposit if we don’t pay 2 DAYS before our arrival. We paid dutifully – knowing full well that we are dealing with that sort of individual. When we contacted the owner after shobbas with pictures and videos of the evidence regarding the neglect and discomfort- he made no apologies, and refused to admit that he mislead us in an dishonest manner. He gave no indication that the has any intentions of upgrading and fixing the issues we raised. When I suggested that I would need to review honestly with the true facts and details of our stay- he threatened to SUE US FOR SLANDER!!!!!!!! The world is a different place today! Reviews are there for honest customer feedback. None should be lured into such a situation again. I would be able to share videos and photos of the above description, with anyone that would need it. We were never told that there is an extra charge for the pool, after we all came with the swimming stuff we were told it's an extra charge to use the pool and it needs to be ordered at least 5 days in advance...

we were there for a sheva brochos of family. everybody enjoyed it, dining room was spacious air conditioning worked well, as a matter of fact we were cold by sathurday morning. the bedrooms were neat n comfortable,bedrooms on top 2 floors like out of Architectual Digest. Pool was clean n lovely grounds are breath taking yes, some bedrooms are in basement but had windows n u only sleep in bedroom the upstairs n outside so so beautiful....would definetlly recommend it for groups or simchas

What a treat to be able to spend the weekend in a mansion! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There are paths along the mansion, and lounge chairs throughout the grounds. The interior of the mansion is of an older style, yet well maintained. It is spacious and hosted our large family very comfortably. We had multiple rooms for lounging. It felt clean and well kept. The sleeping accommodations were acceptable. Although there are many bedrooms, most are in the lower level and are simply designed. The few bedrooms on the two main floors are exquisite. The owner was available for any questions we had, and he gave us clear instructions regarding air conditioning. We were really pleased with our stay!

Our family stayed there this shabbos. True the decor is exquisite but it is not well maintained. We were also cheated with the bedrooms. The owner said there are 18 bedrooms but 10 out of the 18 were located in the basement w/ no windows and the beds were bungalow beds with bungalow style linen. Not the kind of hotel style rooms you would expect when paying top dollar. In addition the a/c was not doing the job in cooling off the place. Though the owner said to give it time and by Friday night it should be "freezing" we were still waiting for that to happen by the time we left.

I read the reviews thoroughly before renting this property for a family weekend as I like to do my due diligence before booking a place. I also asked the owner for references and called previous customers. I was not disappointed! The home, or rather, mansion, is quite large and beautifully decorated. It has an older home kind of charm, with enough space, both inside and out, for a large family with many young childen to enjoy. The air conditioners quietly did their job and cooled off the mansion wonderfully. It was really comfortable with fresh linens, ample towels, and spotless bathrooms throughout. It was so cozy! The weekend flew by, and we did not want to leave... : ) I have already encouraged friends to book this place for their family get togethers. I would return again in a heartbeat. The owner was reachable at all times and helped us settle in. Thank you!

BYDH had a wonderful experience on the school retreat at the mansion. The girls enjoyed the spacious rooms and had a wonderful time at the pool. There were plenty of rooms for each grade to call their own. The girls were seated comfortably in 1 of the rooms for their guest speaker. One and all had a fabulous time. The outdoors really lent itself to an exceptional time. Thank you for helping make this trip a true success.

What a house! What a weekend! Our Family Shabbos Hisvadus here at The Monsey Mansion was truly a unique and special experience. For most of our large extended family, it was our first time inside a mansion, and we got to spend a weekend here! What a treat! We filled the mansion bedrooms to capacity, yet it was incredible how much space there was all over. The multiple sitting rooms, study, dining areas and more, provided spacious room for us all. The home previously housed a family, and has a warm family feel to it, which showed throughout the many photos adorning the walls and hallways. The impressive estate is perched atop a beautiful hill, lending itself to stunning views from the many oversized windows. The overall decor is a throwback to a modern Renaissance mansion, with a feeling of unmatched luxury throughout. The attention to detail in every single room will render the biggest design critic speechless. All the sleeping quarters are beautiful and comfortably accomodated our very large family! The many bathrooms were clean and well stocked, and the linens were really soft and fresh. Sleeping here felt like the perfect combination of a luxurious hotel with a wonderful cozy, home-like vibe. The spacious grounds are stunning, with plenty of grassy areas for the children to play, yet also a beautiful private path weaving around the property for the adults to enjoy. The property is surrounded by mature trees and is well maintained. The kitchen accommodations are functional for large groups and worked well for us. We were able to cook comfortably and keep all our Shabbos food warm. The men davened Friday night in the four seasons room, which is stocked with siddurim, and has an available shtender. The women and girls were able to follow along with the davening by standing on hallway balcony overlooking the makeshift shul. That was a special bonus! I will be remiss if I don't mention the host! It was a pleasure working with him, both before and during our stay. He was available to answer all of our questions, and there were many! He accommodated us above and beyond and was generous with everything we asked for. A real mentch. We look forward to returning here for another family reunion.

we stayed there for over a week, it's a huge mansion and property, has many rooms, almost every room has a suite with attached toilet bathtub/shower, was a pleasure to stay there with our entire extended family, the children enjoyed there like never before, there is so many space for them to play and have fun, both indoor and outdoor

was there with large group of over 50 people and we loooooved every minute. stunning home with tons of space for all!!!!!!!!!!! great for reunions and overnights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! would totally book again!!!!!!

we had a wonderful time in the monsey mansion. its a big place, stunning outdoor grounds. we were there with more than 65 people and everyone had enough space. we had 7 nice couple bedrooms and tons of kid bedrooms in the basement. (There are more rooms but I'm not sure if its for rent.) the dining room connects to huge foyer so enough eating space too. The pool wasn't heated, but we were there in the summer. It might be problem in the winter though. the place for the shul is perfect it even has a balcony so the women were able to join the davening!

This was my 2nd time, was there with wife's family and recently with my family. It was really a pleasure, the house was very nice, clean and comfy we all enjoyed it. Has many rooms and bathrooms, nice place to daven as well, tables and chairs etc..

the experience from booking to checkout was amazing, owner was extremely helpful with booking and showing us the house before to see arrangements. the mansion itself was perfect, clean and comfortable, every guest was extremely happy from check in to checkout. our simcha there was BH great.
